A Finlândia adotará o DVB-T2 antes 2020.
Uma guerra de palavras estourou entre YLE e DNA sobre a transição da Finlândia para a transmissão terrestre em HD. A emissora pública afirma que o recurso da transmissora ao Tribunal do Mercado significa que a transmissora comprometeu sua posição.
De acordo com a YLE, o custo para as famílias não está incluído na licitação e não deve ser levado em consideração como parte do processo de licitação. “No centro está a questão de quanto do custo deste tipo de transição pode ser repassado às famílias. YLE has invited tenders for a high definition terrestrial network with the aim of making a full transition to HD in March 2020.
